We store all information that you enter on our Web site. If you choose not to provide certain information, it may inhibit our ability to properly service your needs. Do We Share Information?

GoldFilm Photo does not sell, rent, or give away any customer information ever. The information that you give us remains confidential and is not sold to other companies for any reason, including solicitation.

Security of Your Information

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using encryption software. This encryption protects information that you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card when confirming an order back to you. Please note that we do have to transmit the entire credit card number to the credit card company while processing your order. Please be aware that despite our efforts, no data security measures can guarantee security.

Shared Computers

In order to protect your private information when using a shared or public computer, be sure to Log Off of our site when you have finished shopping with us. The Log Off button is located on our home page just above the Search button.

GoldFilm Photo does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use GoldFilm Photo only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Requests To Delete Personal Information

Should you wish your customer information to be deleted from our system, a two-step process must be completed. The first step is to submit a request for deletion, the second and separate step is to confirm that you want your personal information deleted. You may contact us via email, or via phone to make your request.

According to the California Consumer Privacy Act, GoldFilm Photo has up to 45 days to respond to your request. Businesses must verify the requestor is the account holder. This is to assure us, that it is you requesting the deletion and not someone else trying to erase your data. We will contact you within 2 weeks to verify your identity and confirm that you do want your personal data deleted. When processing the confirmation for erasure, GoldFilm Photo will anonymize your personal data but keep non-personal data such as revenue information and order details. Order details that are retained include the gateway used to process payment, time of sale, amount paid, currency, subtotal, shipping cost, taxes added, shipping method, item quantity, item name, SKU, payment method and zip code (for sales tax issues). GoldFilm Photo will also not redact any text that has been entered manually by agents into free-form text boxes, such as comments on a customer’s timeline or notes on orders.

Personal data will not be erased from GoldFilm Photo if you have made an order within the last 180 days. However, GoldFilm Photo will log the erasure request and confirmation, and automatically erase the data once this time has passed. If you make another purchase after your information has been redacted, you will need to create a new customer account.
